I usually recommend 5 to 8 lessons prior to your wedding. How fast a couple learns is usually dependent on the male, and depending on how fast your learn and how good your rhythm is, you could learn to dance in anything from 1 lesson to 10.

The less time is available to learn to dance, the more one focus on routines rather than technical skills.

Do I have to know how to dance to be able to dance?

Strangely enough no...Rhythm can be taught in a relatively short period and a routine can be worked out that suite your skills and capabilities. Feel free to give us a call if you are in doubt!

What classes are available?

There are currently 3 options available for wedding classes:

1. Standard Group Classes
   
   Every Monday @ 20h00. This is a combined class and though every couple gets individual attention, the speed at which you learn might be a bit less than the smaller groups. 8 lessons of the standard group class is recommended before your wedding.
   
   Costs are R 250 per couple per month.
   
   
2. Periodic Wedding Classes
   
   The periodic wedding classes stretch for a duration 2 months. Times are either Mondays 19h00 to 20h00, Thursdays 19h00 to 20h00 or Thursdays 20h00 to 21h00.
   
   Costs are R 600 per couple for the complete course (R300 per month), depending on availability and the number of couples attending.
   
   
3. Individual Wedding Classes
   
   We are reluctant to give individual wedding classes due to the high cost. In the case of 5 couples or less, costs are R 300 per couple per hour, and time slots are dependent on availability.
